DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is looking for a CBRN and Fire Fighting Equipment Technician to support clients in the management or direction of logistics support for one or more programs, including appropriate supporting organizations. The technician will provide direct support to the client in the planning, coordinating and execution of numerous logistics efforts for legacy and future systems as well as technical refreshes/upgrades. Primary duties will include (but not limited to): Inspect, service and repair motorized power tool equipment (generators, compressors, pumps) Perform highly skilled work in the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). Conducts leak, fit and flow testing analysis of SCBA equipment utilizing advanced technical equipment. Maintain appropriate Defense Chemical Test and Evaluation (DCTE) certification required to perform machine testing of CBRND respirators. Complete Train-The-Trainer courses and serve as a New Equipment Training (NET) Instructor IAW AR 350-1. Generate CBRN equipment surveillance reports and associated data from surveillance efforts. Review system parts lists and make recommendations on the table of allowance. Learns the different proposals for each Subcontractor and Vendor and becomes familiar with how purchase orders and subcontracts are issued. By the 3rd month mark and ongoing: • Has a foundational understanding of Filanc’s processes and procedures for construction, budget management, change order, RFI’S and RFP’s, submittals, & accounting administration. • Is assigned a project with oversight to start to learn the process by doing a download with the estimating team, get a good overview of the project as well as thorough review of the plan. Reviews the bid schedule and scheduling process to create the baseline schedules. • Negotiates subcontracts and conducts subcontractor meetings as needed. • Partners with Human Resources to conduct interviews, hire, train and coach to help maximize employee performance based on staffing needs. By the 6-18th month mark and ongoing: • Shows integrity, respect & empathy when dealing with others that embodies the Filanc culture. • Is seen as the project leader by all field and internal staff and is established as the go to person for questions and direction related to the project. • Assists Superintendent and helps resolve any field labor relation issues. • Through ongoing communication with internal & external team members, constantly follows up to ensure that tasks are being completed to drive project progress forward. By the 20th month mark and ongoing: • Ensures all project related paperwork & documentation is complete and accurate. • Begins to close out contracts ensures all vendors were paid properly and verifies if there are any outstanding lien releases that need to be resolved. • Works with Project Owner on final acceptance of project once notice of competition is filed. • Coordinates labor to make repairs for warranty issues. POSITION SUMMARY: A Gate Attendant/Scale Operator is responsible for accurately and efficiently monitoring and recording waste volumes entering the post collection site, as well as collecting appropriate usage fees from customers. And as we expand environmental solutions, we drive additional opportunities to provide these services to our existing recycling and waste customers. Recycling and Waste We continue to expand our recycling and waste business footprint throughout North America through organic growth and targeted acquisitions. The 13 million customers we serve and our more than 5 million pick-ups per day provide us with a distinct advantage. We aggregate materials at scale, unlocking new opportunities for advanced recycling. In addition, we are cross-selling new products and services to better meet our customers’ specific needs. Environmental Solutions Our comprehensive environmental solutions capabilities help customers safely manage their most technical waste streams. We are expanding both our capabilities and our geographic footprint. We see strong growth opportunities for our offerings, including PFAS remediation, an increasing customer need. SUSTAINABILITY INNOVATION Republic’s recent innovations to advance circularity and decarbonization demonstrate our unique ability to leverage sustainability as a platform for growth. The Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation’s first integrated plastics recycling facility. This innovative site processes rigid plastics from our recycling centers, producing recycled materials that promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We are building a network of Polymer Centers and Blue Polymer facilities across North America. We continue to advance decarbonization at our landfills. As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we have 70 landfill gas-to-energy projects in operation and plan to expand our portfolio to 115 projects by 2028.
